Konda, South Konawe — Pondok Pesantren Alfarohidy has officially launched its School Health Unit (UKS) program for the first time as part of an effort to strengthen student health services within the school environment. The program is designed to provide proper care for students who are unwell, as well as to offer essential health support such as basic medical treatment, medication, and healthy food.
The UKS program officially came into effect on Monday, January 12, 2026. On its first day of operation, at 07:15 a.m., two Grade 10 students, Azizah and Naylatus, received medical care at the UKS. Afifah Khairunnisa, a health officer from Field VI (Health and Physical Development), who is responsible for the program, explained that Azizah showed symptoms of fever, while Naylatus suffered from severe flu accompanied by stomach pain.
One of the students, Naylatus, shared her experience of being treated at the UKS for the first time. “When I was treated at the UKS for the first time, I felt relieved because I received good service. I am also happy about this new program from OSIM. I hope the program will continue to develop and add more facilities, such as blankets,” she said.
The UKS program was initiated following a decision made during a meeting of Field VI: Health and Physical Development, held on Saturday, January 10, 2026. According to OSIM advisor Fikrunnisa Sahlan, the program serves several important purposes.
The UKS program is intended to prevent the spread of viruses among students. Prior to the establishment of the UKS, sick students often remained in their dormitories, increasing the risk of interaction with healthy students and the potential transmission of illness. Staying in dormitories can be challenging due to noise and daily activities, whereas the UKS offers a quieter and more supportive environment for recovery.
Furthermore, the UKS program was initiated to eliminate the negative image and fear among students regarding the UKS building, which had previously been perceived as frightening or “haunted.” Through active use, proper management, and positive activities, the program seeks to educate students that fear should not be rooted in superstition. Instead, it encourages them to strengthen their faith (tauhid) by believing that all matters, including health and illness, are under the will and protection of Allah.
By implementing this program, Pondok Pesantren Alfarohidy hopes to promote not only physical well-being but also mental resilience and spiritual awareness among students, creating a healthier, calmer, and faith-centered educational environment.

Their arrival marked the beginning of the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year and reflected their decision to continue their Islamic education in pesantren.
The students, who had previously studied in Punggaluku area of South Konawe, chose Pondok Pesantren Alfarohidy after carefully considering several Islamic boarding schools across Southeast Sulawesi. The pesantren's clean environment, strong discipline, and supportive learning atmosphere were cited as key factors influencing their decision.
One of the new students, Ahmad, shared his initial impression upon arriving at the pesantren. “My first impression when entering this pesantren is that the environment is clean, my friends are fun, and the lessons are engaging. One of my favorite subjects is Arabic,” he said. His statement reflects the positive atmosphere experienced during his early days of adaptation.
The arrival of the new students is considered particularly meaningful, as it comes only a few months after several students were reported to have left the pesantren. Despite the presence of many well-established Islamic boarding schools throughout Southeast Sulawesi Province, Pondok Pesantren Alfarohidy continues to be a preferred choice. The new students explained that the strict regulations of the pesantren played an important role in their decision. “I like this pesantren because its strict rules help me become more disciplined,” one of them stated. When asked about improvements in their skills and talents, they responded positively. “Yes, I feel that this pesantren helps me improve my skills and supports my dream of becoming a Da’i,” one student explained. They also noted that the structured daily routines have made them more diligent and disciplined than before.
Positive impressions were also shared by fellow students. Ahmad was described as kind, generous, helpful, cheerful, and diligent in his daily activities. Meanwhile, Awi was noted for being friendly, humorous, generous, active in maintaining cleanliness, and consistent in fulfilling his responsibilities.
From the teachers’ perspective, Ustadz Heldi observed that both students have adapted well. He explained that they blend easily with other students and consistently demonstrate respectful behavior toward teachers. According to him, within just one week, the students have shown a clear understanding of the pesantren’s rules and have displayed discipline, cleanliness, and enthusiasm for learning.
Ustadz Heldi also expressed his hopes for their continued growth. “May they remain consistent in memorizing Arabic vocabulary and stay diligent during halaqah sessions,” he said, emphasizing that perseverance will play a key role in supporting both their academic progress and character development.

Rapat kerja tersebut diikuti oleh pengurus OSIM yang berasal dari peserta didik MA Tahfidz Alfarohidy dan MTs Tahfidz Alfarohidy. Demi mendukung kelancaran kegiatan organisasi santri, Pondok Pesantren Alfarohidy secara khusus meliburkan kegiatan belajar mengajar (KBM) pada hari pelaksanaan rapat.

Rapat dipimpin langsung oleh Ketua OSIM, Sayeeda Elzena Zafind, didampingi Wakil Ketua OSIM, Resik Eka Tristania, Bendahara OSIM, Hafidzah Wulandary Halim, serta Sekretaris OSIM, Wa Ode Neysa Alliya Baisof, yang bertugas sebagai notulen rapat. Awal Kepemimpinan OSIM Periode 2026
Sebagai informasi, pengurus OSIM Ma’had Alfarohidy periode 2026 telah resmi dilantik pada 21 Desember 2025, bertepatan dengan kegiatan pembagian rapor hasil belajar santri yang dihadiri oleh orang tua, wali, serta keluarga santri. Rapat kerja tahunan ini menjadi kelanjutan dari proses tersebut sekaligus penanda dimulainya roda organisasi OSIM secara aktif.
Melalui perencanaan yang matang dan dukungan penuh dari pihak pesantren, OSIM Ma’had Alfarohidy diharapkan mampu menjalankan perannya secara optimal sebagai wadah pembinaan kepemimpinan, kedisiplinan, dan karakter santri, serta berkontribusi positif dalam menciptakan lingkungan pesantren yang tertib, produktif, dan berakhlak mulia.

The UKS program was initiated following a decision made during a meeting of Field VI: Health and Physical Development, held on Saturday, January 10, 2026. According to OSIM advisor Fikrunnisa Sahlan, the program serves several important purposes.
The UKS program is intended to prevent the spread of viruses among students. Prior to the establishment of the UKS, sick students often remained in their dormitories, increasing the risk of interaction with healthy students and the potential transmission of illness. It also provide greater comfort for students who are unwell. Staying in dormitories can be challenging due to noise and daily activities, whereas the UKS offers a quieter and more supportive environment for recovery.
Furthermore, the UKS program was initiated to eliminate the negative image and fear among students regarding the UKS building, which had previously been perceived as frightening or “haunted.” Through active use, proper management, and positive activities, the program seeks to educate students that fear should not be rooted in superstition. Instead, it encourages them to strengthen their faith (tauhid) by believing that all matters, including health and illness, are under the will and protection of Allah.
By implementing this program, Pondok Pesantren Alfarohidy hopes to promote not only physical well-being but also mental resilience and spiritual awareness among students, creating a healthier, calmer, and faith-centered educational environment.

Konda, South Konawe — Pondok Pesantren Alfarohidy, located in Konda Satu, South Konawe Regency, officially welcomed two new transfer students from Wangi-Wangi District, Wakatobi Regency, on Sunday, January 4, 2026. Their arrival marked the beginning of the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year and reflected their decision to continue their Islamic education in pesantren.
The students, who had previously studied in Punggaluku area of South Konawe, chose Pondok Pesantren Alfarohidy after carefully considering several Islamic boarding schools across Southeast Sulawesi. The pesantren's clean environment, strong discipline, and supportive learning atmosphere were cited as key factors influencing their decision.
One of the new students, Ahmad, shared his initial impression upon arriving at the pesantren. “My first impression when entering this pesantren is that the environment is clean, my friends are fun, and the lessons are engaging. One of my favorite subjects is Arabic,” he said. His statement reflects the positive atmosphere experienced during his early days of adaptation.
The arrival of the new students is considered particularly meaningful, as it comes only a few months after several students were reported to have left the pesantren. Despite the presence of many well-established Islamic boarding schools throughout Southeast Sulawesi Province, Pondok Pesantren Alfarohidy continues to be a preferred choice. The new students explained that the strict regulations of the pesantren played an important role in their decision. “I like this pesantren because its strict rules help me become more disciplined,” one of them stated. Another student added that his motivation was to gain deeper religious knowledge.
After spending one week at the pesantren, the students reported noticeable progress in their personal development. When asked about improvements in their skills and talents, they responded positively. “Yes, I feel that this pesantren helps me improve my skills and supports my dream of becoming a Da’i,” one student explained. They also noted that the structured daily routines have made them more diligent and disciplined than before.
Positive impressions were also shared by fellow students. Ahmad was described as kind, generous, helpful, cheerful, and diligent in his daily activities. Meanwhile, Awi was noted for being friendly, humorous, generous, active in maintaining cleanliness, and consistent in fulfilling his responsibilities.
From the teachers’ perspective, Ustadz Heldi observed that both students have adapted well. He explained that they blend easily with other students and consistently demonstrate respectful behavior toward teachers. According to him, within just one week, the students have shown a clear understanding of the pesantren’s rules and have displayed discipline, cleanliness, and enthusiasm for learning.
Ustadz Heldi also expressed his hopes for their continued growth. “May they remain consistent in memorizing Arabic vocabulary and stay diligent during halaqah sessions,” he said, emphasizing that perseverance will play a key role in supporting both their academic progress and character development.

Pondok Pesantren Alfarohidy — Organisasi Santri Intra Madrasah (OSIM) Ma’had Alfarohidy menggelar Rapat Kerja Tahunan (Raker) Tahun 2026 pada Sabtu, 10 Januari 2026. Kegiatan ini menjadi langkah awal pengurus OSIM terpilih dalam merumuskan arah program, sistem kerja, serta tata tertib organisasi santri selama satu tahun ke depan.
Rapat kerja tersebut diikuti oleh pengurus OSIM yang berasal dari peserta didik MA Tahfidz Alfarohidy dan MTs Tahfidz Alfarohidy. Demi mendukung kelancaran kegiatan organisasi santri, Pondok Pesantren Alfarohidy secara khusus meliburkan kegiatan belajar mengajar (KBM) pada hari pelaksanaan rapat.

Pemaparan Program dan Penguatan Sistem Organisasi
Rapat dipimpin langsung oleh Ketua OSIM, Sayeeda Elzena Zafind, didampingi Wakil Ketua OSIM, Resik Eka Tristania, Bendahara OSIM, Hafidzah Wulandary Halim, serta Sekretaris OSIM, Wa Ode Neysa Alliya Baisof, yang bertugas sebagai notulen rapat. Kegiatan ini turut dihadiri dan diawasi oleh Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kesiswaan serta Pembina OSIM.
Dalam rapat tersebut, masing-masing dari 10 bidang OSIM memaparkan rencana program kerja yang meliputi agenda kegiatan, perkiraan jadwal pelaksanaan, estimasi anggaran, serta usulan kegiatan yang akan dijalankan sepanjang tahun 2026. Selain itu, dibahas pula mekanisme dan sistem pelaksanaan kegiatan agar selaras dengan nilai-nilai pesantren serta aturan yang berlaku di madrasah dan asrama.

Kesepakatan Tata Tertib dan Kebijakan Santri
Selain perencanaan program, rapat kerja ini juga menghasilkan sejumlah kesepakatan strategis, antara lain terkait iuran OSIM, tata tertib madrasah dan asrama, penggunaan fasilitas pesantren, tata tertib ibadah dan kedisiplinan santri, pelaksanaan kegiatan Kamis Literasi, tata tertib Maqsof, serta aturan perizinan dan penjengukan santri.
Seluruh pembahasan berlangsung dalam suasana yang kondusif, tertib, dan komunikatif, mencerminkan semangat musyawarah dan tanggung jawab para pengurus OSIM dalam menjalankan amanah organisasi.

Awal Kepemimpinan OSIM Periode 2026
Sebagai informasi, pengurus OSIM Ma’had Alfarohidy periode 2026 telah resmi dilantik pada 21 Desember 2025, bertepatan dengan kegiatan pembagian rapor hasil belajar santri yang dihadiri oleh orang tua, wali, serta keluarga santri. Rapat kerja tahunan ini menjadi kelanjutan dari proses tersebut sekaligus penanda dimulainya roda organisasi OSIM secara aktif.
Melalui perencanaan yang matang dan dukungan penuh dari pihak pesantren, OSIM Ma’had Alfarohidy diharapkan mampu menjalankan perannya secara optimal sebagai wadah pembinaan kepemimpinan, kedisiplinan, dan karakter santri, serta berkontribusi positif dalam menciptakan lingkungan pesantren yang tertib, produktif, dan berakhlak mulia.

Hari Pahlawan diperingati untuk mengenang Pertempuran Surabaya yang terjadi pada 10 November 1945, salah satu pertempuran terbesar dan tersengit dalam sejarah perjuangan kemerdekaan Indonesia.
Setelah Jepang menyerah kepada Sekutu pada Agustus 1945 dan Indonesia memproklamasikan kemerdekaannya, pasukan Inggris bersama Sekutu datang ke Indonesia dengan alasan:
Hal ini memicu konflik dengan rakyat Surabaya yang sudah menyatakan diri merdeka.
Di Hotel Yamato, Belanda mengibarkan bendera merah-putih-biru.
Rakyat Surabaya memprotes.
Terjadi perebutan bendera, dan warna birunya disobek sehingga tersisa Merah Putih.
Insiden ini memperkuat semangat perlawanan rakyat Surabaya.
Brigjen A.W.S. Mallaby, pimpinan pasukan Inggris di Jawa Timur, tewas dalam insiden tembak-menembak di Surabaya.
Kematian ini membuat Inggris marah dan mengeluarkan ultimatum:
Semua pemuda dan laskar Surabaya harus menyerahkan senjata dan menyerah tanpa syarat.
Rakyat menolak ultimatum ini.
Pada pagi hari 10 November 1945, pasukan Inggris melancarkan serangan besar-besaran:
Meski jauh lebih kuat, arek-arek Suroboyo melawan dengan semangat luar biasa. Tokoh penting seperti Bung Tomo membangkitkan semangat melalui siaran radio.
Pertempuran berlangsung hingga tiga minggu, dan ribuan pejuang gugur.
Untuk mengenang keberanian dan pengorbanan rakyat Surabaya, pemerintah Indonesia menetapkan 10 November sebagai Hari Pahlawan.
